As the President, it is with great pride that I introduce my company to you, it’s employees and capabilities. J.C. Machine Shop is a family owned and operated business based in Miami, Florida. We first opened our doors in 1980 with three employees and six machines. At that time we were primarily focused on meeting the needs of the local textile and carton industries. Today, twenty three years later we have grown to over sixty employees and have expanded our capabilities to service the special equipment and machinery needs of a variety of industries. Some of which include the heavy moveable structures, lock and damn industry, waste to energy industry and sugar cane processors, just to name a few. Our staff including the Administrators, Engineers and Production managers are among the finest in their field. Averaging nineteen (19) years of experience per employee, they include field sales and service, support personnel, project managers, design engineers and draftsman, shop supervisors, Quality control technicians and numerous experienced machinists, mechanics and welders. With this team of highly dedicated and self-motivated employees we offer our customers a quality product supported by unequaled customer service. As a member of your “TEAM” we can assist you from the initial stages of design, through complete and timely shop drawings, to meeting your production time lines. Our “NEW” manufacturing facility is conveniently located five miles north east of Miami International Airport. It is situated on over three (3) acres of property with 40,000 square feet of manufacturing space currently under roof. Our facility was designed and built to accommodate a work force of nearly double our present capacity along with the associated machinery and equipment. This growth potential will allow us to continue to meet our customers growing demands well into the future while providing us with the current flexibility of supporting our customers varying requirements. Our ability in machining and fabrication are extensive and diverse. We have the capability of turning up to 105” in diameter by 25 feet between centers, and gear cutting to 27 feet in diameter with face widths of 56”. In addition, we can roll bend, weld and work plate to 40,000 pounds. We support these activities with equipment to mill, bore and grind that include CNC Milling and Lathe machines to achieve high precision work. Additionally over the past three years we have made major investments in both time and money in specialty equipment for the field machining of Trunnions and Girders. Today, J.C. Machine Shop is recognized as a preferred supplier in the fabrication of equipment and machinery for a variety of industries.
