Structural steel components, movable bridge, and other heavy industrial and infrastructure-based equipment may require on-site field machining when being installed or repaired. This is most often the case with equipment, machinery, and structures that are too large or heavy to ship to our JC Machine’s heavy machining shop. For these projects, we provide our customers with nationwide job site machining, fabrication, and repair services. We have the specialized equipment, knowledge, and experience needed to machine components on site with precision and efficiency. Our field machining capabilities also include turning up to 25 inches in diameter and facing up to 60 inches in diameter.
